started Joe with some board work and light band tension today. He's had close to 2 weeks off and is ready to get going again. Bodyweight up to 172 and the shirt is already fitting better.

Is Joe using his shirt on all his board work?

Tell Joe I said if he doesn't hit 700 at Carps I will shave his head on the platform.

yes, we wear our bench shirts on board day. the more weight you train with the more weight you lift on meet day! Rob: Joe is so much stronger as he gets closer to 180, shirt fits better and can push the big weight. if you would have seen the way he pushed up 705 in the gym several weeks ago, 700 plus is no problem.

I know Joe is more than capable of hitting 700 Plus. I just want him to get it done. He worships his hair more than anything so that is the best thing to threaten him with. LOL! Joe is an awsome bencher and person/friend!

I feel for Joe Mazza. As pretty as he is, he has to train with an ugly balding old fat lifter .

Pete: you shouldn't talk about yourself in such a manner!

Joe is switching over to a Titan shirt. we put him in a double ply F6 today for the first time. shirt is a bit loose, but even Joe can tell, it will be one hell of a shirt once it gets dialed in.

Joe did his board work in a Titan Kitana last night. Finally, got Joe into a shirt that he couldn't get anything to touch in and got tremendous pop all the way to lock-out. We are very excited about his training right now and look forward to his free weight work next week. When the shirt is set to be the most resistive, I anticipate that it will take every bit of 750 to touch, and the bar will just shoot off his chest. next week will be very interesting.

Joe's number's look good, 555 x 8 and he pushed 725 3/4's of the way up, but he still isn't getting enough pop out of his Kitana, Titan is sending another one that has been tweaked a little more, so we will see how he responds in 2 weeks when he does his next free weight set to failure.

Joe did well with 585 today, couldn't get the groove right with the touch set. Titan did an excellent job dialing in his shirt.

2/3 we made a technique adjustment and Joe had a great workout today. keep in mind, Joe has been in an Inzer DD for years and we had about 2 months to get him into a Titan Kitana for the biggest meet of the year. Joe is progressing very well.
