12/7 got Joe started up again today. had some tendonitis issues, he pushed a little weight today, everything felt good. Gene is having a meet in Feb., so we'll try and get Joe ready for that.

12/14 keeping the bands light for Joe right now, his arms are feeling good. kept him at a 1b today, just worked on technique and getting him comfortable getting the weight down with less tension. Middle of Jan we will jack up the tension and get him ready for Feb 21.

12/17 Joe was real strong today. last time he did the same rev bench he got crushed with 825, today he threw 875 right up. we're not going to push him real hard right now, keep him fresh. I think 700 will go right up.

12/31 Joe just crushed 585 x 10 today, then threw 700 right up off a 1b for a touch set. we try to do a weight that we can't push up, but he crushed 700. good day for Joe.

615 x 9, probably the most impressive set that I have seen anyone do. Joe just played with 615 like it was 315. Then blasted up 720 and 740 like it was nothing. Joe freaked on me a little, came within an inch of touching with 720 & 740, he just got a little nervous with the weight but he surprised himself and us with how he just threw that weight right up. if all goes well looking at 685, 705, 725 on Feb 21.

Joe blasted 645 x 6 today, just super strong right now. He's 30 pounds from his all time best of 675 and just playing with the weight. he said his weight today was 171. we're going to cycle him around 1 more time, try 665 for reps and then max.

jim when joe does these hes is doing them as shirted continuous reps meaning that he hits 6 consecutive reps as opposed to 6 individual reps.

3/1 had Joe bang out some reps today, he'll be nice and fresh for his demo at the Arnold.

3/19 Joe blasted up 655 for 6 strong reps, he is just incredibly strong right now. Took him to 725, he stayed in his groove, touched and blasted it up.
