I will list the way that I prefer to progress through the bands. ME Bench and tri's: #1 mini #2 mon mini #3 small #4 small & mini #5 medium #6 medium & mini #7 medium & mon mini #8 large #9 large & mini #10 large & small #11 large, small & mini #12 large & medium
ME Squat: #1 mini #2 small #3 small & mini #4 medium #5 med & mini #6 med & small #7 2 sets medium #8 2 sets med & mini #9 2 sets med & small
Now, when you start a band rotation, you pick the heaviest tension that you can handle. For example, if on the ME bench you can handle a #5 (medium) then your 2 other bands would be 3 & 4, so you would rotate through 3,4&5 combo's. Once you build up some bar weight with the mediums, usually when my bar weight gets just over 100 pounds then my 3 band combo would increase, I would then go to 4,5&6. I've been a little more cautious with my ME squats because of my past back problems which was caused by staying on the heaviest bands for to long. I'm now at 325 bar weight with 2 sets of mediums, so my next cycle I will be adding the mini's to that. So, I would suggest getting to about 250 bar weight with your heaviest bands before increasing.
