My name is Delbert Lloyd. I live in Central Utah in a small town. I have worked in the Sheriff's Office for over 20 years. I am 54 years of age and 210 pounds. I started lifting about 4 years ago. I have tried several methods like WS and progressive overload and made some progress. I too learned about the JA site from articles on the WS site. I started lurking on JA's site back in May and then I started using his system. At first without bands. This is my second wave and I can't believe my progress. When I started my first cycle I squated 320, bench 220, deadlift 340. I have a lose bench shirt , some inzer briefs for squating and a belt. I have never competed but love to push myself.
I lift alone in the basement and my wife thinks I have lost my mind. Currently my bench is 245 my squat (as of a few days ago) was 375x5, my deadlift 355.
My goals are to take my lifting as far as I can for as long as I can without breaking down.
I would like to thank Jim for his willingness to share a program that allows older lifters, young lifters and middle age lifters to make progress. I would also like to thank Dan and all others on this site for their help, their encouragement and their knowledge.
