We had a Jr high meet last night and one of the runners got sick after his race. Not a big deal but one of my throwers asked me "why" do you get sick sometimes when you run too hard? Well, I don't know the answer, I assume it has to do with oxygen or CO2 levels doing something but I'm now wondering what the mechanism really is - any of you guys know?

Don't have an exact anwser for you, but he could have also had a poor pre-meet meal. I would get that way when running low on carbs (low blood sugar). Just an idea. Later Allen
