I think I may have torn my rotator cuff or something about a month ago. My right shoulder is killing me, from the inside top to the back. I haven't lifted a thing other than a fork since early February. It hurts to even sleep on it.
I know I should go to the doctor but I know he will say he wants to cut on me and I can't afford that ($$ or time off).
Just bitching some.

I went to my chiropractor, who is a close friend and fellow lifter. I had a strained rotator cuff and an inflamed AC joint. He set me up with adjustments and electro-stimulation. it has been a month and it is healed. I went 3X a week, and now I am going every other Fri. for a checkup. Therapy is the way to go

my shoulder's and front delts were aching big time, I decided to cut out all raw work including days 5,10 and no more inc & dec. Shoulder's feel great! I still do days 5&10, but with a shirt and a reg grip.

I have major AC joint problems and, well, I know what a doctor will say. Conservative measure such as those mentioned are the best way to rehab a shoulder, unless there is a complete tear preventing the shoulder from moving (not from pain). If you lift heavy, just protect the shoulder (use a shirt temporarily).
Good luck! DrJBozzelle
