When I attempt to work my delts, they are really really sore and fatigues for days... what is causing this? Is it simply because they are weak? I work them and they are sore for a good week or so so it really kills my benching, what can i do ? Thanks

It sounds like delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS).
Most lifters experience it for 24-48 hours after a hard workout. If it's lasting a week, then maybe you are overtraining your delts.

If i do one set of 8 reps with a 15 pound d bell, its the exact same thing. Cant be overtraining.
