I have a feeling alot of you when you finish a cycle, you just start up another one. First of all, make sure you max after every cycle, either at a meet or in the gym.
After the max, get out the calendar, pick a Sat 9 or 10 weeks away. If there is no meet scheduled in PLUSA then you will have to plan a gym max.
You then work backwards from that Sat. The Tuesday before will be day 8 cycle 6. The Monday before will be day 6 cycle 6, remember no dl, the last dl is day 6 cycle 5. Then from that Monday, the one right before the max which is day 6 cycle 6, you work backwards. The day before, Sunday would be day 5 and so on. Work back until you get to day 1 cycle 1, that's when you start your next cycle.
The more you practice maxing the better you get at it. You can do all the doubles and triples you want, doesn't mean a thing unless you max.
I always set up the next meet or max so that we can start a new cycle within a week. Sooner the better!
