I've posted 13 logs on this site over the past several years, I think everyone gets the point. I just completed my 26th cycle and will be starting my 27th.
Personally, I have lost interest in competing for various reasons but I still train as if I were competing.
If I make any changes to my training or PB a certain workout I will post here.
I still come on the site once a day and will answer any questions posted, for now I will keep the site up for information purposes. There is alot of info on the site, just no need to keep posting a daily log at this point.
I did change my board workouts, slightly. I felt the need to try and focus on the lower half of the bench. The only time I touch is when doing touch sets and that is only 1 set every 2 weeks, I just didn't feel comfortable with that part of my bench. So, instead of doing 4b,5b & 6b I switched to 2b,4b & 6b. This way you are training a wider range of your bench movement. By going down to a 2b, it forces me to really work on tucking the elbows in and has allowed me to touch with less weight. I feel much more comfortable in the lower half.
2 weeks ago, I did 515 x 3 then went to 585 for a touch set. I felt much more comfortable getting 585 down and was able to push it through to lock-out with only a bit of help from my spotter. I think the 2 board has really helped me to get the weight moving off my chest.
Everything else has pretty much stayed the same.
