Hi Jim How would you set up your training if just benching and deadlifting? How frequently would you deadlift? Thanks Mike

Even if you were just benching like Mazza, you would bench once a week alternating between free weight/ speed and max effort and 3 days later doing a board workout. Since your not squatting you could try deadlifting once a week alternating between band work and free weight. If you get into heavy bands like myself, you need to cut out all assistance work, that's when my whole group including Joe started making our biggest strength gains.

Jim How would you recommend using the bands for someone who struggles with the deadlift start? Can they help the start as much as the lockout? Thanks Mike

the trapbar will help with your start, technique is everything. if you use a dl suit make sure the straps are very tight, that is the biggest help with getting weight off the floor.
